External Sounds is a collective of dj's, musicians, producers & visual artists from Drogheda, Ireland. We run a monthly music event on the first Saturday of each month at The Purple Room, Drogheda. The Resident djs are regularly joined by national as well as international guests on our nights.
Our members have performed at many venues and club nights nationally as well as been invited to perform at events in the Uk, Finland & Croatia. They have also played festivals such as DEAF, Drogheda Arts Festival, Body & Soul Festival, Sibin, Burning Man, Escape, and the Electric Elephant. The collective has also performed & hosted its own tent at the Electric Picnic Festival in 2008, 2009, & 2010, as well as running Body & Soul Radio at the festival in 2009 & 2010.
